We have won numerous awards for our work, including Gold medals and special commendations at RHS Yorkshire in Bloom, and praise from Ofsted & SITAS inspections.
Our Vision
We firmly believe in education. Not only do we specialise in designing and developing school playgrounds, we are also actively involved in training the next generation of landscape designers at the University of Sheffield.

Doug Baker

Landscape Architecture Graduate Diploma
Douglas started his career as a garden designer in 2004, having originally undertaken training in landscape architecture at the University of Sheffield. He has considerable experience of designing and maintaining all kind of gardens and outdoor spaces, from large private gardens to gardens open to the public and extensive school grounds. He also runs horticulture clubs and supports outdoor learning. One of our long term projects led by Douglas is the Overthorpe School Grounds Development started in 2007, which has won several prizes from RHS Yorkshire in Bloom, including the judge's special commendation in 2010.

MA in Landscape Architecture
Charlotte is a Chartered Landscape Architect. Before joining Arcadia Landscape & Design, Charlotte worked for a major international Architect and Planning Consultant group. Her portfolio contains projects of various scales, types and complexity for example, large scale primary and secondary school, hospital, housing development and other public sectors schemes. Some of the projects she worked on have won several important awards in the Landscape Design sector.
